Your Pest Problem

Which pests am I dealing with?

There are hundreds of different types of pests throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Each has its own behaviors and indications. If you think you may have pests in your home or business, use our Pest Identification Library to determine which are plaguing you. You can also contact us for a professional inspection.

Why do I have pests?

It is well known that pests infest cluttered, dirty, and unhygienic spaces. But, they can also infiltrate the cleanest of homes and businesses. There are a variety of reasons pests like to come onto our properties, but most are for the food, shelter, and water present. While cleaning up drips and spills could impact the presence of pests in your home or business, the unfortunate truth is that some pests persist. A professional inspection can help you determine why pests have come in and how to keep them out.

Do I need professional pest control?

While some small infestations can be controlled with DIY methods, it’s not guaranteed to prevent future outbreaks. Professional technicians employ the best extermination and preventative techniques to control larger infestations and get you longer lasting pest-free results.

JP McHale Treatment

What’s IPM, and why do you use it?

IPM stands for Integrated Pest Management, and it’s an environmentally-responsible approach to pest control. It dictates a proper inspection, historic data, and utilizing the best method for the job that is both eco-friendly and effective. At JP McHale, using environmental-protective methods and those safer for your family is very important to us.

How do you decide which treatments to use?

We have a variety of treatment options for many different pests. The one we use is ultimately determined by an initial inspection and historical data on what’s worked for similar cases in the past.

What’s the difference between the programs you offer?

Our programs vary based on pest needs and your lifestyle. Some programs cover multiple pests for longer durations while others are pest-specific. Learn more about each of our programs to see if one is right for you!
